As more professionals move to this part of Wyoming, the need for quality remote work environments has grown. Remote work in Jackson Hole supports flexible schedules, with plenty of local spots designed to help you stay focused without losing the benefits of living in a scenic and upscale community.

Here are the best places to work remotely in town, each offering specific perks for remote professionals.

The Cowork Space

Located in the heart of downtown Jackson, The Cowork Space offers a clean, modern setting with shared desks, private offices, and meeting rooms. The layout is spacious, featuring large windows that permit natural light and views of Snow King Mountain. Ergonomic furniture, high-speed internet, and flexible membership options make this an appealing choice for professionals who need a dedicated workspace.

You’ll also be within walking distance of coffee shops like Snake River Roasting Co. and shopping at Gaslight Alley, which includes high-end home goods and lifestyle shops like Mountain Dandy and Altitude. Remote work in Jackson Hole often starts here, especially for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and startup founders seeking a community-driven location that maintains a quiet, work-friendly atmosphere.

Inversion Cafe

Inversion Café is a newer addition to the Jackson coffee scene and has quickly become a reliable space for focused work sessions. It offers a modern, minimal aesthetic with clean lines, bright lighting, and a mix of small tables and window seating. The environment is quiet and uncluttered, appealing to remote workers who need a dependable spot to open a laptop without distraction. Wi-Fi is consistent, and outlets are available for those planning to stay a while.

Located just off Broadway Avenue, Inversion Café is within walking distance of upscale shops and local retailers like Belle Cose and Altitude. The café serves locally roasted coffee and a concise menu of healthy options, making it convenient to stay productive without leaving the downtown core. Remote professionals prioritizing a calm, design-forward setting often make this café part of their weekly routine.

Persephone Bakery Downtown

Persephone Bakery offers a casual yet well-appointed environment for working remotely. While it’s a busy café during peak hours, early mornings and late afternoons provide a more laid-back vibe ideal for setting up a laptop. The interiors are polished, with communal seating, fresh pastries, and French-press coffee creating a comfortable work rhythm.

Located near Town Square, you’re just steps from outdoor seating areas and nearby retail shops like MADE and New West KnifeWorks. This makes it easy to take breaks, shop for kitchen essentials or gifts, and return to work feeling refreshed. The café’s reliable Wi-Fi and clean design continue to draw remote workers looking for a dependable daily setup.

Snake River Roasting Co.

Snake River Roasting Co. is a favorite among locals who value a more spacious layout and a strong coffee selection. The open floor plan and mix of booth and table seating make it ideal for longer work sessions. The lighting is warm, the music stays low, and the staff is accustomed to people using the space for professional tasks.

It’s located a short distance from Jackson Whole Grocer and smaller retail hubs, allowing you to grab a quick lunch or visit nearby boutiques without driving across town. For those working on a deadline or who need a calm, focused environment, Snake River Roasting Co. continues to serve as a go-to spot for remote work in Jackson Hole.

Teton County Library

Teton County Library offers quiet work zones, study rooms, and a reliable internet connection. It’s ideal for those who want to avoid the distractions of cafés or shared offices. The library includes individual desks, tables for collaboration, and printing services, making it a full-service location for professionals.

The library is located near the Jackson Hole Community Pathway and provides access to walking and biking trails. When you need a midday break, nearby shops like Wool & Whiskey or retail at the Smith’s Plaza offer options to recharge. This environment is especially suited to writers, researchers, and remote employees who benefit from long, uninterrupted blocks of time.

Healthy Being Café & Juicery

Healthy Being offers a light, natural setting that appeals to remote workers who value organic food and a clean atmosphere. It’s less crowded than other cafés and offers indoor and outdoor seating and consistent Wi-Fi. The smoothies, juices, and wellness bowls provide a healthy fuel-up while you work.

It’s just off Pearl Avenue, close to the Jackson Hole Farmer’s Market and locally owned boutiques. If your remote work routine includes healthy living and good food, this café provides the setting to keep both on track. Many professionals use it as a midday workspace between other meetings or coworking sessions.

The Cloudveil Hotel Lobby

The Cloudveil’s lobby area offers one of Jackson's most upscale remote work environments. The seating is comfortable, the design is modern and inviting, and the atmosphere is professional. Though primarily a hotel, the lobby welcomes remote workers who need a few hours of focused time in a refined space.

Located right on Town Square, The Cloudveil is close to shopping at Gaslight Alley and fine dining options like Snake River Grill. The environment here feels more like a boutique business lounge, making it a solid choice for client meetings or when you want a polished space to take calls and stay productive.

Picnic

Picnic is the quieter counterpart to Persephone Bakery and offers a more relaxed setting for remote work. Located south of downtown, it attracts locals who want a reliable spot to focus without the busyness of the central café scene. There are plenty of outlets, strong coffee, and a rotating menu that keeps things fresh.

It’s positioned near smaller design and lifestyle shops, including curated home goods stores and independent fashion boutiques. This part of Jackson offers easy parking and a calmer pace, ideal for those who want two to three hours of work before moving on to the next part of their day.

About the Author

Born in the land of the Delta Blues, Colby Murphy grew up as a nationally ranked cyclist and avid outdoorsman. Colby's addiction for competition took his amateur cycling career through college, capturing silver at the USAC National Championship and a spot on Team USA for the 2013 UCI World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand. While attending Middle Tennessee State University, Colby volunteered coaching youth athletes in addition to interning with the D1 NFL Combine Camp in Nashville, Tennessee. It was freshman year when Colby was exposed to the magic of Jackson Hole. Instantly attracted, he began splitting his time to ski Jackson every year thereafter.

Upon publishing research in the International Journal of Exercise Science and receiving his bachelor’s degree, Colby immediately relocated to Southern California in pursuit of his professional cycling career. Once retired from competition, Colby quickly found himself as a top producing sales professional serving owners of high end luxury real estate in areas of San Diego including Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, and Coronado. With his affection for luxury property, history with Jackson Hole, and prior connection to Christie's International Real Estate, Colby saw a clear path and executed a move to Jackson. In his spare time, he now enjoys turning laps at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and giving back at Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding Association.

Colby is fortunate to have been raised around admirable examples of what drive, tenacity and resilience can yield. His father, a self-made entrepreneur, and uncle, an owner of the Christie's affiliate brokerage in San Miguel de Allende and Mexico City, both inspired Colby's ambitions from an early age.

Now, Colby has positioned himself among some of the most respected networks in the industry. He feels proud and blessed to have established relationships with multiple Christie’s affiliate owners and associates spanning multiple cities, states, and countries. Colby has also recently become a member of REALM™, the first globally collaborative real estate collective designed to empower the real estate professional by curating new relationships and matching qualified buyers based on lifestyle experiences and passions rather than search criteria.

In a market where there are as many agents as annual transactions, Colby represented clients from Australia, the UK, Mexico, and several U.S. states in his first year alone. He applies the principles and work ethic he learned through sport and his impressive circle of mentors to ensure he creates the highest value for his clients. Always elevating, always seeking excellence, his acquired values and attributes provide a successful combination that will ensure your selling or buying experience is a win.
